A young girl named Alice was walking on a street one day. She was thinking
about what job she could do. She walked past a café. ‘I could be a waitress.
‘ Alice thought. ‘If I become a waitress, I’ll serve customers with delicious
food and drinks. Waitress need to be patient and caring. They need to listen to
customers’ needs patiently, I can do that!’

Then Alice walked past a restaurant. ‘I can smell delicious food!’ thought Alice.
‘I know! I want to be a chef! I am good at cooking and I can come up with new
ideas for new dishes. Customers are going to like my food. I can do it!’

Suddenly, a dog ran past Alice. Alice looked at the cute little dog and thought,
‘I could be a vet. If I become a vet, I’ll cure sick animals. I can play with cute
pets all the time. This sounds like my dream job!’

Alice then saw her friend Paul. ‘Hey, where are you going?’ asked Paul. ‘I am
just walking around and thinking about what I want to be when I grow up. ‘
Alice replied. ‘I am going to eat something at that café over there. Do you want
to join me?’ Paul smiled. Alice agreed.
